Hardware and software are two sides of same coin. The hardware can not function if it does not have the necessary software to operate. This is just a piece of scrap without using the required software. Computer software are 3 types: Programming Software System Software Application Software The software system used to manage computer hardware and computer system. It helps protect the programmer in a large measure from details of hardware or a particular system to be used, especially memory and other accessories such as printers, readers, communications, displays, keyboards, monitors, The programming software provides tools to help a programmer to write computer programs and software using a specialized language called a programming language. These tools are combined by the integrated development environment (IDE) and a programmer may not need to type multiple commands for compiling, debugging, tracing, etc., because the IDE usually has an advance Graphical User Interface or GUI. Graphical User Interface acts as an interface between computer and user. Application Software allows the user to perform a specific task or tasks that are not computer. These applications include enterprise software, medical software, educational software, databases and computer games. Nowadays, almost all areas, use a form of application software. Computer software has been loaded into the storage system as the computer’s hard drive, RAM or memory. The computer can run the software only when it is loaded. Computers operate by executing programs. There are many software companies providing the software. Some of the best known brands are: Microsoft, Adobe, Eurotalk, Symantec, editing software, Global software made by these brands are available on the net at competitive prices.
